Skunk Anansie est un groupe de Rock britannique, formé en 1994 dont le membre le plus remarquable est la chanteuse au crâne rasé, Deborah Dyer (alias Skin). Le nom du groupe vient d'un mot africain "anansie", qui signifie araignée ou homme-araignée et fait référence à un personnage mythique de certains contes africains (déformé en "Aunt Nancy" outre Atlantique). Le mot "skunk" signifie mouffette mais peut faire référence également à un pain de cannabis.

Plus de 125 athlètes en provenance des 4 coins du globe se retrouveront à Tignes pour les compétitions de snowboard et ski de la 2ème édition des Winter X Games Europe Tignes du 16 au 18 mars 2011.
Au programme : le SuperPipe hommes et dames en ski et snowboard, le Slopestyle hommes et dames en ski et snowboard, ainsi qu’une démonstration de Snowmobile freestyle !

La première édition des Winter X Games Europe Tignes s’est tenue l’année dernière en mars 2010 et a été une vraie réussite ! 3 jours de compétitions, 66 200 spectateurs. Les amateurs de freestyle sont venus en masse encourager leurs champions le long du parcours du Slopestyle et sur le copping du SuperPipe. Les réactions ont été unanimes : « énorme », « spectaculaire », « du jamais vu en Europe »… en bref du grand show !

Nous sommes curieux de voir ce que la crème des riders internationaux nous réserve pour 2011 !
