The worlds best Freestyle Snowboard Action will take place in Saas-Fee, April the 19th to the 22nd.Saas-Fee has the honor to present one of the last stops of the unique “Ticket to Ride Snowboard World Tour 06/07”. Frederik Kalbermatten and Marco Schwab as hosts and a kick ass party program the SNICKERS Classic & POPCORN Wallride is going to be the perfect end of the season in the Swiss Alps.

Ride with your Idol
A TTR 3-Star with a slope style competition is taking place the first time in Saas-Fee. It’s an exclusive opportunity for talented snowboarders to compete against your idol and maybe you assert your claim to the prize money of 10’000 US-Dollars beside the 15 invited Snowboard Stars. The TTR 3-Star Event is open for everyone and offers everybody access to the qualification and the chance to
become the newcomer in the snowboard community.

From Riders – For Riders
With Frederik Karbermatten, Burton Global Team Rider and Marco Schwab, Pro Rider and Star TV “Freestyle” Moderator, we were able to get two experts of the Snowboarding Scene so that the contest is going to be an absolute highlight. They know what it needs to organize a contest and to fulfill the rider’s expectations. Together they made a list of wellknown international riders and friends and invited them for the event. Saas-Fee is incredible happy to welcome riders like Marko Grilc SLO, Jonas Emery SUI, Tonton Holland SUI, Kazuhiro Kokubo JPN, TJ Schneider CND, Chris Kröll AUT, Friedl Kolar AUT, Steve Gruber AUT, Andy Monsberger AUT, Sani Alibabic AUT, Hannes Metzler AUT, Alessandro Boyens GER, Iker Fernandes ESP, Morgan Le Faucheur FRA and Gian Simmen SUI. Further Saas-Fee offers one of the last chances to all riders’ newcomers or professionals to upgrade their TTR tour results.

Set-up
SNICKERS Classic Slope style jam sessions (70-100 Riders), Semi Final (40 Riders) and Super Final (12 Riders). The contest terrain in the “Längfluh” area below the Popcorn Plaza 2870 Meter a.s.l. is just perfect for a slope style and the planned kicker line of Frederik Kalbermatten.

POPCORN Wallride

The Wallride forms the completing of the event on Sunday. Riders compete at a wall of eight meters high, which is one of the larger ones you can find at a competition, already the third year. The results of the Wallride are not part of the TTRranking, however the overall winner of the SNICKERS Classic & POPCORN Wallride wins the title KING OF POPCORN, which includes a surprising reward.
The perfect season end Saas-Fee offers the best conditions to become the destination for all snowboarders from Switzerland and the entire Europe, because here you’ll find the best snow conditions of the Alps in April due to it’s hight.
For a perfect season end a kick ass party program is obligatory. Scott Sullivan is coming just for the event from the States to heat up the party locations together with the A.F. Band from the Valais / CH. Several good DJ’s create the right atmosphere in the most popular bars of the Alps, namely the Popcorn Bar and the Living Room Bar.
